A public agency lacked a standardised protocol for handling radiological and biological threats. A comprehensive tabletop exercise was conducted involving key stakeholders. Based on findings, we drafted standard operating procedures (SOPs) that aligned with international CBRN protocols and included escalation paths, isolation techniques, and post-exposure protocols. The agency received certification for CBRN readiness, with SOP adoption leading to measurable improvement in inter-agency coordination.
